Built to an exceptionally high standard, the atmosphere is sophisticated yet laid-back with over-sized cushions scattered around vaulted living quarters, accented with antiques; private nooks filled with ottomans and the warm colours of the Kasbah around a central courtyard with aviaries. There are two separate dining areas filled with plants and large Moroccan lanterns, making for romantic supper by candlelight. Step through to the second courtyard with its unusual central swimming pool, bright with mosaic and fretwork…and glimpses of the bay below.

Large sunbathing patios and four bedroom suites cocoon the pool. Each suite has a large adobe style bathroom, small private patio garden at the rear and the master room has a large sitting room/study. All suites have air-conditioning.

Step down to the bay gardens with its hugely glamorous double day-bed overlooking lawned area planted with palms and leading to the Folly with two further bedrooms. At the foot of the gardens there is a private deck for bathing in the secluded bay with access to a small beach. Kayaks and rowing boats are available.

The Castle has an air-conditioned Cinema/Media room with large board room.

There is a cable TV, DVD Player and BOSE sound-system. The villa is staffed by a housekeeper and a cook. All meals and drinks are extra. Seasonal Rental starts from $10,000/week
